Our Mooiplaas Braaipap story…. It all started in 1996 when a successful maize trader who at the time was working for his brother-in-law, decided to buy a burned down mill and build it up. This mill is to date still in the Stols family, run by father and son in a small farming town in sunny North West, South Africa. Mooiplaas Braaipap™is an all natural product using only the finest locally produced maize with no additives, minerals or colourants added. Only water is used in the whole milling process to create this unique coarse braaipap. Cook it, share it & enjoy eating this South African staple.
