The strap and mat are equally durable, not to mention so beautiful!! This larger size mat is ideal for home practice in your sacred space. A fantastic initiative using both natural rubber and also recycled plastic (with natural inks) to keep plastics out of landfill and our ocean. I also appreciate the wholesome small business vibe of YPC that comes through their branding, products and initiatives. I’ve been really enjoying using this for both yoga and floor pilates. It’s wide and spacious and the pattern is mesmerising and adds beauty and joy. My day feels better for having spent time here. I absolutely love this kind of rubber- both the base and the top layer offer incredible grip. What really stands out for me is the smooth texture- it’s super easy to clean and dries really fast after washing. The mat is thick enough to make my practice comfortable, but still firm enough to offer great stability in all poses. On top of all that- the design is not only eco-conscious, but it’s truly a piece of art.
