Melissa Mai This is such a beautiful and comfortable yoga mat. My main style of yoga practice is Yin/Restorative, so this mat is perfect with its thick and cushioning and natural warmth. I also love that it’s extra long to ensure I have a lot of space. Its a classic design, which will never date and I imagine having it for years and years! It is great that Anjali Generation Yoga Mats rubber and cork are harvested without cutting down any trees, as opposed to toxic plastic that’s harmful to consumers and the planet.Emily Fletcher The Anjali Luxury Cork Yoga Mat is an incredible mat which just feels so good to work out on. Totally natural and even free from glues, (which is rare, even for natural, eco yoga mats) it feels so wholesome to use and I love that it is 100% biodegradable. I really appreciate the extra thickness of the mat being 5mm… in certain postures and sit-ups, I really love some extra padding and this is just so comfortable to use. The advice on the label about a small spray of water over the cork when first starting to practice has made a huge difference to the grip! I’d always slipped a bit on cork until now. It is so grippy, much more than other cork matts that I have used, I love the look of this and the texture is great. Made sweating worry free with the anti-microbial cork! Natural cork and rubber was amazing! I love how it is free from all nasties, especially when you are laying down on the mat it didn’t have a harsh- new mat smell like some I have tested in the past. I think the values they place on keeping this Ethical and sustainable are very note worthy!
