Amy Landry A fantastic mat that is a perfect size to practice on. I love the feel of natural fibres on my hands and feet when practicing and the neutral, minimalist design. The mat is super easy to clean and has the ideal amount of grip, in my opinion. As this mat is made entirely from natural fibres, I so appreciate that one day it’ll biodegrade back into the earth without being any harm or leaving micro-plastics in the ground. I appreciate the mindful use of jute, given it does not demand much water usage and them keeping manufacturing out of China. Plus, no plastics in delivery packaging is great!Emily Fletcher I don’t think there is anything better than practising sun salutations on a mat which is totally natural- no glues or even patterns, except the threads of the jute fibres as they criss cross the mat, creating superb grip. I’ve found myself reaching for this mat a lot recently. The pure simplicity is beautiful in itself and a pleasure to use. I appreciate that Anjali Generation, despite being a micro business ensures a tree planted and plastic removed from the ocean with each purchase as well as supporting local charities. Highly recommended!Iasmim Nery This was one of my favourites. The rubber provides excellent grip- both for hands and feet, as well as in contact with the ground. It’s generously sized and features a natural colour that makes it both unisex and elegant. It’s heavy, which also helps keep it stable during outdoor practice, even on windy days. That said, overall, it’s a luxurious mat of outstanding quality! For me, the highlight is that they are partnered with Greenspark and every order rescues 5 plastics from the ocean and plants one tree.
