As it wears it becomes more fleshy and fruity – you get the sweet raspberry, juicy peach and tart rhubarb which together perfectly compliment that rose note. The dry down has crystalline white musk and the earthiness of oud to ground the scent and tie everything together, while also helping the scent to last on the skin for 6-8 hours. ABOUT THE BRAND Ficifolia Fragrances was conceptualised in the Melbourne lockdowns during the Covid pandemic of 2020. Founder, Sophie Marcoux, struggled with the loss of face-to-face time with friends, family and Melbourne culture. During her pre-covid travels, Sophie would buy herself a perfume in whatever country she was in to as a scent souvenir. Inspired by the connection between scent and memory (plus a hint of desperation for some outside time during lockdown), Sophie began developing scents that reflected her life in Melbourne. If she couldn’t actually be out with her friends sipping vino at Marion, she wanted to smell like it.
