The Pink Heart is a narcotic, hypnotic, almost hallucinogenic fragrance. It’s all about leaning into temptation, consequences be damned. This fragrance transports you to a dual dimension where not everything is as it appears. It’s not just a pretty floral, it has a darker, earthier side, and an almost animalic quality to it. The Heart of Ecstasy is inspired by a voyage to the island of the Lotus Eaters, a race of people encountered by Odysseus in the ancient Greek epic, The Odyssey. The Lotus Eaters were sustained by a mythological lotus tree laden with narcotic flowers, the consumption of which allowed them to live hedonic lives of pleasure, luxury, and blissful apathy. It then settles into the most unique and beautiful floral with the dry undertone of the narcissus flower as the shining star. The combination of white florals creates depth and adds a slight creaminess, accented by an intriguing sharp kick of Sumac. The wear of this perfume is great, we generally get at least 8 hours on the skin, with good silage. LORE LOVES Well, firstly we just love the pink bottle! The Pink Heart is strong and intoxicating, whilst also being quite refined as it has a beautiful dry, green floral feel accented by interesting earthy notes.
